Nikhil Boolell

Nikhil is an alumnus of the United World College of the Atlantic. He read law at the University of Exeter in England and at the Université de Rennes 1 in France, further to which he obtained an LLB in European Law. He benefited from exposure to Old Bailey and Privy Council cases while interning in England, and was also a scholar of the summer programme of the China University of Politics and Law. This allowed him to work at the Beijing headquarters of a leading Chinese law firm, where he developed a nuanced understanding of matters pertaining to cross-jurisdictional investment. Nikhil was called to the Bar of England and Wales and the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in July 2015.

He was called to the Bar of Mauritius in September of 2016. As a member of Banymandhub Boolell Chambers, Nikhil currently works on diverse files, dealing with environmental law, construction and hospitality, contract, and company law.
